We are looking for a Title Insurance manager, the ideal candidate will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Executive Director (ED) will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for staff, operations and financial performance. Frequent and proactive interaction with the Managing Attorneys of the law firm will be required. The right candidate will play a significant role in the long-term success of REOAA.
Ensure delivery of services meets or exceeds expectations with respect to quality and cycle times. Overall responsibility for the financial performance of REOAA.
Continuously improve the business processes through analysis and collaboration with staff and clients.
Analyze the financial performance of the business, making recommendations for growing revenues, protecting profit margins and making necessary adjustments in staff levels in response to changes in volumes of work.
Ensure employees understand roles and responsibilities through clearly defined roles and Standard Operating Procedures for all departments. Provide feedback, delegate tasks, and identify and satisfy training needs.
Refine operating metrics and develop metrics where needed to allow analysis of company performance and identify internal and market trends that impact REOAA and make appropriate recommendations for action.
Coordinate and lead the execution of strategic initiatives.
Use external presence and relationships to garner new business opportunities.
Provide overall management support of the Title Production operations.
Oversee the entire real estate closing process, including compliance with real estate contracts, lender instructions, title requirements, company requirements and other written instructions.
Understand the escrow process to determine what steps need to be taken to transfer the title of property pursuant to the conditions called for in the real estate contract and lender instructions.
Working hours: 9am-5pm
Bachelor’s degree in business with at least 10 years of management experience, including P&L responsibility.
Deep experience in and knowledge of the title industry.
Licensed title agent with a working knowledge of title practices in the states of DE, FL, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA and the District of Columbia.
Experience leading a staff of at least 10, including the development of next-generation leaders and demonstrated ability to drive improvements in operational and financial performance.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage in a fast paced, labor intensive environment and in accomplishing objectives by working collaboratively with other people and teams.
Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to REOAA, effectively dealing with conflict and alternative points of view. Persuasive with details and facts.
Ability to delegate responsibilities effectively.
